Swing into Fall with Victoria Beckham

This Fall/Winter season Victoria Beckham swings into stores with her second collection of figure-hugging, formal dresses, which are tailored to fit and flatter the female form. She launched her first collection in London last December.

The ad was shot in a single take on the street in London’s Notting Hill area on July 23rd, and was directed by Mat Jerrett. Victoria Beckham can be seen behind the lens and in front of the camera as well.

The theme for the ad is original, creative and artistic. Girls model her designs swinging back and forth on wooden rope swings suspended from the houses and bus stop along the street. I found her ad to be memorable and one of a kind, which is the whole point of advertising anyway. But I personally wouldn’t need any persuading to buy her clothes as I love her style and I loved her first collection.

Victoria’s dress collection is currently available for sale in Britain at Harrods, Selfridges, Net-A-Porter.com and Bergdorf Goodman.

  1. Hmm…I don’t know about it…It’s a bit too contemporary of an ad for me. Why waste so much for an ad campaign when it doesn’t do anything for your brand. After watching this I don’t really have a desire to go and buy her clothes. I wish there was some humor infused in this commercial…it was just so blah… Maybe it’s just me…lol
